Racing: Australia into third at ISDE

On the charge as it slips past Sweden

Australia is on the cusp of finishing on the podium in the International Six-Day Enduro for the first time in 10 years, following day four of this year's event in Portugal.

After another strong day at the office, Australia pushed aside Sweden to move into third place, behind only the dominant France and Italy.

Australia -- Toby Price (Kawasaki), Husqvarna duo Chris Hollis and Glenn Kearney, and Yamaha trio Stefan Merriman, Jarrod Bewley and Kirk Hutton - is currently three-and-a-half minutes ahead of Sweden, with only one real day of intense, long-haul riding ahead of them before the event concludes with a short 80km trail section and a motocross test.

Here's where all the Aussie riders are placed in the individual standings after day four:

Senior Trophy:

16th - Toby Price
23rd - Chris Hollis
25th - Stefan Merriman
28th - Jarrod Bewley
32nd - Glen Kearney
58th - Kirk Hutton

Junior Trophy:
49th - Geoff Braico (KTM)
60th - Nick Beattie (Yamaha)
169th - Andrew Lloyd (TM)
DNF - Josh Green (Kawasaki)

Women's Cup
244th - Jemma Wilson (Yamaha)
250th - Alison Parker (Yamaha)
308th - Jacquie Jones (Yamaha)

The Junior Trophy and Women's Cup teams are in seventh and third respectively.
