Australian Brody Nowlan will compete in the 2010 Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup after making the cut in a tough selection event at the Adrian circuit, near Venice in Italy.
Nowlan was just one of seven teenagers to make it through, where they will join the 18 rookies retained from this year's cup - including Aussies Arthur Sissis and Josh Hook.
In warm and humid conditions, an initial 15-minute familiarisation session was followed by two 20-minute tests with groups of seven riders out on the track together.
Nowlan did enough to impress the four judges, along with German Florian Alt, Italian Niccolo Antonelli, Brazilian Antonio Chiari Brazil, Austrian Deni Cudic, Spaniard Xavier Pinsach and Frenchman Alan Techer France.
Those Rookies invited from the 2009 cup are:
Brad Binder South Africa
Kevin Calia Italy
Alessio Cappella Nigeria
Xavier Figueras Spain
Jake Gagne USA
Daijiro Hiura Japan
Joshua Hook Australia
Danny Kent England
Alex Kristiansson Sweden
Taylor Mackenzie Scotland
Florian Marino France

The Red Bull Rookies Cup is held as a support race(s) at selected European rounds of the MotoGP title.
This year's title was won by Czech rider Jakub Kornfeil.
