Race sponsorship is deductable – ATO
The Australian Tax Office has made it official, in document number 2005/284: sponsorship of a motorcycle race team is a legitimate tax deduction, under certain circumstancesBroadly, they are that it must be a legitimate promotional expense for business which reasonably hopes to gain exposure/publicity from the effort.
