
BMW Motorrad Australia has announced pricing for two all-new models due to arrive in May and July 2015 — the R 1200 RS and S 1000 XR.
The R 1200 RS will be available in two variants: Lupin Blue Metallic ($22,950) and the Exclusive in Granite Grey Metallic Matt ($23,250). Standard features on both include integral anti-lock braking, traction control with riding mode pro, electronic suspension adjustment, cruise control, LED daytime riding light, chrome exhaust, tyre pressure control, on-board computer, white LED indicators and heated grips.
The R 1200 RS Exclusive, as well as the different livery, also adds an engine spoiler, gold anodised brake callipers and a glass-beaded stainless steel tank centre cover.
Factory options include gearshift assist pro, keyless ride, and seat variants (sport and low) as well as a touring package which consists of on-board computer pro, preparation for BMW navigation device, centre stand, luggage grid and pannier holders.
The R 1200 RS will be available at local dealers in May 2015.

The S 1000 XR adventure sport is available in two colour options — Racing Red and Light White. Australian standard features include integral anti-lock braking, two riding modes, stability control, on-board computer, heated grips, hand protectors and centrestand.

A LED daytime riding light, low seat and suspension lowering kit are also available as individual options.
Pricing starts from $22,190, and the S 1000 XR will go on sale by July 2015.
