When strong gripping force is applied to the front brake lever, it may break.
If the front brake lever breaks while the motorcycle is being ridden, the rider will lose all brake functionality at the front of the motorcycle, increasing the risk of an accident and serious injury to the rider and other road users.
Owners of affected motorcycles should contact their local Yamaha Dealer to arrange an inspection and have the brake lever replaced, where required.
