What are the defects?
Due to a manufacturing issue with the fuel pump assembly there may be insufficient clearance between the fuel pump body and impeller, which can interfere with normal fuel pump operation.
What are the hazards?
If the defect occurs, the fuel pump may experience a sudden loss of fuel pressure, causing the engine to stall and posing an accident hazard to the rider and other road users.
