A product safety recall has been announced for Triumph's new Rocket 3 R, Rocket 3 GT, and Rocket 3 TFC.
According to the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC), air may be trapped in the rear brake system, which may potentially "result in increased rear brake pedal travel before rear braking is experienced".
The recall affects 355 bikes that were sold nationally up until January 13, 2020.
Triumph Australia has asked owners of the affected models to contact the Australian Triumph dealer network to arrange for the issue to be rectified free of charge.

It's a relatively minor albeit disappointing hiccup for Triumph, given the Rocket 3 is essentially an all-new model that was only released here in February 2020.
The Triumph Rocket 3 has the most torque (221Nm) and largest engine capacity (2458cc) of any volume production motorcycle, and it won the title of Best Cruiser in the 2020 bikesales Bike of the Year Awards.
