Product recall: Kawasaki Stockman

Company already on the case

An official product recall has been announced on the Kawasaki Stockman general purpose motorcycle, which has a model designation of KL250J8F. Details are as follows:

What are the hazards? Vehicle malfunction

What are the defects? On affected units, polystyrene-derived debris may be lodged in the oil passage. The debris could block or reduce oil flow which may result in camshaft seizure and engine lock, creating the risk of a crash.

Supplier: Kawasaki Motors Pty Ltd

What should consumers do? Kawasaki Motors will write to owners of all affected vehicles.
