Related to the 2013 model TE250 and TE310

Details as follows:

Product description
TE250 MY13
TE310 MY13

Identifying features

Here's the VIN list for all affected motorcycles.

What is the defect?

In both models the plastic fuel elbow may crack during removal. In addition, the TE310 requires a fuel tank lift kit to be installed. The fuel tank lift kit will add more clearance between the fuel tap cross over pipe and the water pump cover top bolt in order to prevent rubbing, which may result in a fuel leak.

What is the hazard?
Both defects may result in a fuel leak, which may pose a fire hazard to the driver and/or pose a hazard to other road users.
