BMW S 1000 RR

What is the hazard?
Escaping oil or sudden engine seizure may result in a serious accident and/or pose a hazard to other road users.

What is the defect?
BMW Motorrad has found that there have been a few, isolated cases of engine damage occurring at high engine rpm. This was caused by conrod bolts working loose.
