Product recall: assorted Triumph models

Five models in Triumph's line-up have been recalled for defective indicator stems

The Australian Competition & Consumer Commissions has issued a product safety recall for a number of Triumph models that may be fitted with defective indicator stems. According to the ACCC, the recall concerns “the front and rear indicator stems the Tiger 800, Speed Triple, Street Triple, Daytona 675 and Tiger (T100) model motorcycles”.

The indicator stems on the affected models may feature an “incorrect material composition” which leads to the stem’s fracturing.

A letter has been sent to owners of the affected models, urging them to return their bike to a Triumph dealership for replacement.
