PRODUCT NEWS: V-Strom accessory footrests
Off the beaten track, little things can be a big helpSuzuki Australia has added wider, height-adjustable footpegs for the current-model V-Strom 650 and 1000 range of adventure tourers to its accessories catalogue.
Black in colour and with rubber inserts for vibration dampening, the accessory footpegs are adjustable by 10mm to the front and are three-position height adjustable also. An external row of outer teeth offers extra grip to the rider when standing on the pegs.
Would-be owners researching the pegs will note that in certain overseas markets, it’s advised the pegs cannot be used in conjunction with the accessory centrestand, though Suzuki Australia says Aussie owners need not be put off by the information.
“We have fitted them with the centre-stand on both the 650cc and 1000cc bikes and they’re not experiencing any clearance issues,” Suzuki’s Matt Reilly said.
They’re available now for $259 through your Suzuki dealer.
