Triumph’s Australian importer has revealed pricing for the British firm’s new pair of LAMS-approved roadsters, with both models check in at under $10k.
The new Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X are set to arrive on Australian shores in early 2024 and offer a new entry point into the marque’s range.
Both bikes are built by Bajaj Auto in India and are powered by a new learner-friendly 398.15cc single-cylinder engine that produces 29.4kW (39.5hp) at 8000rpm and 37.5Nm at 6500rpm.
Pricing for the Speed 400 will start at $8990 ride away, while the Scrambler 400 X will check in at $9900 ride away. Both bikes come with a comprehensive two-year warranty.
“We want to make these bikes as accessible and competitive as possible, and we hope these prices will surprise and excite potential customers in every market,” said Triumph Chief Commercial Officer, Paul Stroud. “We believe we’re offering incredible value, both in terms of initial purchase price and overall cost of ownership.”
The Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X are now live on Triumph’s online configurator and are expected to arrive on dealer floors early next year.
