Pricing on new BMWs
Retail prices are in for the R nineT, R 1200 RT, R 1200 GS Adventure and S 1000 R, with the R 1200 RT and R 1200 GSA the first to go on sale in February, 2014BMW Motorrad has announced pricing on its four new models for 2014: the R nineT, R 1200 RT, R 1200 GS Adventure and S 1000 R. They are as follows:
R nineT -- $20,950
- Availability – April, 2014
R 1200 RT -- $29,990
- Availability – February, 2014
- Standard specifications – anti-lock braking, electronic suspension adjustment, preparation for GPS device, heated seats, cruise control, daytime riding light, hill start control, headlight pro and riding mode pro, radio, Bluetooth interface, audio system, gear shift assist pro, chrome exhaust, central locking, anti-theft alarm, tyre pressure control and two power sockets.
- No cost factory fit options -- Low and high seats.
R 1200 GS Adventure -- $24,300
- Availability – February, 2014
- Standard specifications – anti-lock braking, chrome exhaust, heated grips, tyre pressure control, LED auxiliary lights, LED indicators, off-road tyres and pannier fastenings.
- Factory fit options -- Touring package: electronic suspension adjustment, on-board computer Pro, GPS preparation and cruise control. Dynamic package: LED headlight, riding mode Pro, daytime riding light.
- Cruise control and alarm are also available as separate options.
S 1000 R -- $18,990
- Availability – April, 2014
- Standard specifications – anti-lock braking, quickshift, cruise control and riding mode pro.
- Factory fit options -- dynamic damping control, heated grips, LED indicators, alarm.
