Royal Enfield has revealed pricing for its brand-new Shotgun 650, with the bobber-style cruiser expected to land on Australian shores in May 2024.
The new model will start at $11,590 ride away with what Enfield calls an “introductory price”. This means that the total will likely rise in 2025.
The introductory price tag places it above the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650, but below the Super Meteor 650 on the price spectrum.
Royal Enfield is offering the Shotgun in four colourways – Sheet Metal Grey ($11,590), Plasma Blue ($11,790), Green Drill ($11,790), and Stencil White ($11,990).
All variants of the Shotgun 650 come with a three-year unlimited kilometre warranty and three years of roadside assist.
A world media launch was held in Los Angeles in December, with bikesales Editor Dylan Ruddy saying that “the Shotgun is a stylish, fun, and easy-to-ride motorcycle that should attract riders who weren’t sold on the Super Meteor’s appearance”.
The Shotgun 650 is powered by the same 650cc parallel-twin motor found in the Interceptor, Continental GT, and Super Meteor models.
Royal Enfield is targeting the custom scene, with a number of renowned bike builders, including Roland Sands, offering up their own custom versions of the bike at the launch party in December.
Pre-orders for the Shotgun 650 are now live, with the first five orders getting an invitation to the Australian launch party in Sydney. Head to the Royal Enfield website to place your order, or speak to your local Royal Enfield dealer.
