Pricing announced for 2023 Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650
The India-based manufacturer's new parallel-twin cruiser will arrive in April with a competitive price tagRoyal Enfield has announced Australian pricing for its new Super Meteor 650 cruiser, with the first units set to be delivered in April, 2023.
Launched earlier this month in India, the LAMS-approved Super Meteor 650 will start at $11,990 ride away, which places it about $1000 more than its Interceptor 650 sibling. The price tag also places it in direct competition with the Kawasaki Vulcan S ($12,324 ride away).

The new cruiser utilises the same 648cc air/oil-cooled parallel-twin engine platform that debuted in the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 five years ago. The Super Meteor 650 adds a new chassis, as well as a Showa upside-down fork and LED lighting for the first time on a Royal Enfield.
It becomes just the third parallel-twin machine in the India-based company’s lineup, with its recent offerings consisting mainly of small-capacity single-cylinder machines.
Royal Enfield is offering the Super Meteor in three variants – Astral ($11,990 ride away), Interstellar ($12,190 ride away), and Celestial ($12,540 ride away).
Each variant has multiple colour schemes, while the Celestial variant adds a ‘Tourer’ package that includes a windscreen and a pillion back rest.
As with other Royal Enfield models, the Super Meteor 650 will come with a three-year unlimited-kilometre warranty as well as three years of complementary roadside assistance.
Pre-orders for the new Super Meteor 650 are now open via Royal Enfield dealerships.
