Price defends Aussie off-road title

With Bewley and Grabham making it a trifecta for the all-conquering KTM team

KTM's Toby Price has successfully defended his No. 1 plate in the Australian Off-Road Championship.

Price, 22, wrapped up the championship (and the E2 class) at the penultimate round in Queensland last Saturday, with Bewley (E1) and Grabham (E3) also racking up another points to claim their respective classes.

"To win is an awesome feeling and to back it up from last year is even better.

"It's been an awesome year for me this year... I feel good on the bike and have had no injuries this year and that is a big help.

"I just kept motoing away and trying to win motos and it all paid off in the end.

"Hopefully I can go over to France at the end of the month and do well over there."

Fourth outright was taken out by Yamaha's Stefan Merriman, who was the only rider this season to defeat Price.

The top 10 was completed by AJ Roberts (Honda), Ben Burrell, Kirk Hutton (Yamaha), Daniel Milner, Mitch Harper (KTM) and Luka Bussa (Husqvarna).
