Polaris RZR XP Turbo recalled
Performance SSV recalled over safety concernThe Australian Competition & Consumer Commission has issued a safety recall for the Polaris RZR XR Turbo side-by-side vehicle (SSV).
The recall affects the following VIN numbers:
>> Z16VDE92AE
>> Z16VFE92AE
>> Z16VDE92NH
>> Z16VDE92NW
>> Z16VDE92AH
>> Z16VDE92AS
>> Z16VDE92AV
>> Z16VDE92AW
>> Z16VDE92N8
Polaris says the vehicles were sold nationally from January 2, 2016, to July 26, 2016.
The recall notice states, "There is a potential for the engine to overheat and the oil line may come loose spilling oil onto the overheating engine", leading to, "potential for the vehicle to catch fire".
Owners of the affected models have been urged to cease using the vehicle and to contact an authorised Polaris dealer for further instructions.
