The Polaris Racing Team has begun the 2014 Australian Rally Championship (ARC) Side by Side Challenge with a win in Western Australia last weekend (April 5-6).
Crocker -- the four-time Asia-Pacific rally champion – and co-driver Greg Foletta won all 15 stages held around the town of Nannup over the two days, which was an emphatic result for the new RZR XP 1000.

Completing the podium on both days were Can-Am Maverick 1000R X rs drivers Michael Guest and Nathan Chivers.
“The new RZR didn’t put a foot wrong all weekend, it’s just awesome,” said Crocker.
“The past two years we have run a RZR XP 900 which was very dependable and great fun. The best thing about the new RZR XP 1000 is that it does everything the 900 did just that bit better, it is wider, it is longer and it is faster!”
Said Foletta: “We are a bit nervous running a new machine for the first time in a rally but after this weekend’s performance it has proved itself to be just as reliable as the 900. We are looking forward to the rest of the season.
On Saturday, Crocker finished two-and-a-half minutes ahead of Guest, and on Sunday he extended the winning margin to three minutes.
Guest ran into trouble on Saturday when he broke a drive shaft.
The ARC SXS Challenge continues in August at the Scouts Rally, South Australia.
