Pirelli's Diablo Super Biker app, which allows riders to monitor their riding performance on the track or on the street, is now available for smart phones that utilise the Android operating system.
The app was initially released for Apple's iPhone last August, and since then over 50,000 motorcyclists have downloaded it. It won an award at Italy's SMAU computer and technology expo last year, too, in the 'Utilities, Tools and Productivity' category of the Mob App Awards.
The app allows riders to record data such as lean angles through turns, distance travelled and lap times -- the rider simply selects either 'street' or 'track' mode and starts riding. The app also integrates with Google Maps, allowing your ride route to be reviewed later. The results can then be compared with other riders and even shared directly via Facebook.
The Pirelli Diablo Super Biker app is available in seven languages and can be used with any iPad, iPod Touch and iPhone (iPhone 4 for lean angle data) with a 4.2 operating system or later and now Android OS devices, the latter available from the Google Play Store.

The page had attracted nearly 70,000 followers at the time of publication, and allows fans to view over 100 years of Pirelli history via Facebook's new Timeline format.
