Pedersen wins in Sweden

Second Speedway Grand Prix win of the season for the Dane, while Aussies Jason Doyle and Chris Holder were fifth and sixth

Triple world champion Nicki Pedersen won the Swedish FIM Speedway Grand Prix on July 24 after seeing off Tai Woffinden in the final, with wildcard Antonio Lindback third and Slovenian Matej Zagar third and fourth.

Australians Jason Doyle and Chris Holder were fifth and sixth, as they continue to keep their title hopes alive ahead of the finale at Melbourne's Etihad Stadium on October 24.

At the halfway mark in the championship, Woffinden, the 2013 world champion, is 9pts (80 to 71) clear of Pedersen, followed by reigning No.1 Greg Hancock (58), Zagar (53), Niels-Kristian Iversen (53), Holder (51) and Doyle (48). The third Aussie, Troy Batchelor, is 13th on 30pts.
