Buyers have until September 15, 2019 to bid on a limited-edition Ducati Panigale V4 being auctioned to support the Carlin Dunne Foundation.
Dunne was a four-time Pikes Peak champion who fatally crashed while defending his title in this year’s race.
Proceeds from the auction will support the Carlin Dunne Foundation to help with preventative resources and rehabilitation programs supporting extreme sport athletes
The Panigale is numbered 5 out of 500 25th Anniversario 916 machines. It is homologated for the USA and has the first bids are already well past its book value of $US42,500.

As well as the motorbike, the auction will also include the race leathers Ducati world superbike rider, Chaz Davies, wore when he won at Laguna Seca this year.
The suit was designed as part of the unveiling of the Panigale V4 25° Anniversario 916 and fashions a livery inspired from those of Carl Fogarty’s leathers from the era of the 916 Superbike.
