Official photos: Ducati Streetfighter 848

The new middleweight assailant is now in the public domain, with a design that's in sync with the company's larger capacity Streetfighter
Here are the first official images of the all-new Ducati Streetfighter 848, the company's aggressive foray into a hardcore middleweight naked market that is hotting up by the minute.
Set to go on sale in Europe in November and Australia for $18,990 just a month later, the Streetfighter blends an L-twin 848 Testastretta 11° engine with Ducati's signature trellis frame, complete with revised ergonomics.
No power and torque figures have yet been supplied for the traction-controlled 848, but we surmise it will be somewhere between 130-140hp (95-103kW) and well in excess of 100Nm.
Either way, we can't wait to grab it by the scruff of the neck, which our European scribe Kevin Ash will be doing at the international press launch in late September. Standby for a full launch report in early October.
Colours are red, yellow or matte black.
