Number One comp reveals the best Harley-Davidson in Australia

A custom-built FXR has been named the Number One Harley-Davidson build in Australia and New Zealand

Is this the best Harley-Davidson in Australia? Well, according to a panel of expert judges, the hotted up FXR is indeed just that.

John Cage has been announced as the winner of the Motor Company’s Number One competition, with his “Club Style” FXR wowing the judges.

“It’s a massive honour to have my FXR crowned Number One across Australia and New Zealand and to have that work recognised by the Harley-Davidson community,” said Cage after his victory.

As a result of the win, Cage took home a custom-built trophy and a $5000 in-store voucher for any Harley-Davidson dealership in Australia or New Zealand.

The Number One competition kicked off in January with the goal of finding the best Harley-Davidson in Australian and New Zealand.

Spread across three categories including Heavyweight Cruiser, Bagger, and Club Style, the competition first relied on a public vote to select the three category winners, before a panel of judges voted on an overall winner. Voting criteria centred around the artistry, ingenuity, and creativity of each bike build.

Cage took out the overall and Club Style awards with his FXR, while Matt Muller won the Heavyweight Cruiser category with his Breakout and Glen Couper won the Bagger class with his Road King.

The judging panel featured a mix of Harley-Davidson staff and media.
