Norway develops wild 3-wheeler

Leaning three-wheelers are all the rage, all of a sudden

Hot on the heels of news that Harley-Davidson has applied for patents for a leaning three-wheeler (more here) comes the news that a Norwegian team of engineers says it is ready to go into limited production – if it can find the financial backing.

Called the Brudeli 625, the wild-looking machine is powered by a KTM single-cylinder dirtbike engine.

A unique design feature is the footrests stay horizontal, regardless of the angle of the machine. The designers claim this gives a much greater feeling of control – it would also help to give the machine its phenomenal cornering clearance.
