Next-gen Husqvarna enduro models break cover

Husqvarna has unveiled its new 2024 line-up of enduro models, with the five-model range boasting a thorough update from tip to tail.

Comprising Husqvarna TE 150, TE 250 and TE 300 two-stroke models and FE 250 and FE 350 four-strokes, the new platform encompasses a raft of chassis, suspension, engine, and electronics updates, with Husqvarna claiming they collectively add up to a new level of enduro performance.

Underpinning the 2024 Husqvarna enduro range is a new chromoly steel frame said to possess enhanced flex characteristics, along with a new polyamide/aluminium hybrid subframe that offers added durability and strength.

Husqvarna says the new chassis treads a perfect line, offering enduro riders the supreme agility they need to conquer technical terrain, while still maintaining superb straight-line stability.

Completing the handling package, meanwhile, is the new WP XACT suspension. The closed-cartridge fork has a mid-valve piston to soak up the hits smoothly, while a hydrostop in the last 68mm of travel maintains forward momentum.

The redesigned WP XACT shock has a new piston for enhanced comfort and is now 100g lighter and 15mm shorter, while still retaining 300mm of travel. Husky says the shock has been developed specifically for enduro riding.

On the power front, the Husqvarna FE 250 and FE 350 four-stroke models have more compact engines that have been repositioned within the frame to improve mass centralisation, which in turn is said to aid the anti-squat properties of the chassis and handling in general.

The two-stroke models now utilise what Husqvarna describes as Throttle Body Injection (TBI) technology, which is said to deliver a “more consistent and controllable spread of power throughout the rev range”.

And there’s a range of component upgrades common throughout the new line-up. Braking performance has been boosted through the adoption of a new BRAKTEC brake system with high-performance GSK discs, while on the electronics front there’s a choice of two throttle maps now accessed via a new multifunction Map Select Switch (which also controls the quickshifter and traction settings on the four-stroke models). And the electric starter is powered by a light, 2.0Ah lithium-ion battery.

Revised, ergonomic bodywork features Swedish-inspired graphics along with better knee contact for added control, and there’s a new high-grip seat cover, along with a redesigned and higher-output LED headlight. All these models are capped off with ProTaper handlebars with ODI grips, and roll on Michelin enduro tyres.

The new range is complemented by Husqvarna’s Functional Offroad Apparel Collection and a wide range of genuine accessories.
