Newcastle Toy Run revs up

Thousands of bikes set to cruise the NSW city’s streets for a great cause in early December

The Bikers for Kids Newcastle Toy Run will take place on Sunday, December 5, with the long-running event set to attract thousands of motorcyclists to the mass ride, while donating toys and raising funds for the Salvation Army Christmas Appeal. 

Registration is free, with riders to assemble at Stockton from 8:00am for a 10:00am departure, before following a course that will see the group arrive at Newcastle’s Wickham Park at around 10:30am. 

A family fun day will be held at Wickham Park from 8:00am to 2:00pm, including: 

  • Salvation Army Christmas Appeal collection 
  • Motorcycle display 
  • Raffle prize draw (including SYM Classic 200i, purchased from Brisan Motorcycles) 
  • Kids’ rides and entertainment 
  • Live music 
  • Market stalls 
  • Food trucks 
  • Bikers for Kids fundraising and merchandise
