Yamaha has revealed the new 2022 Yamaha MT-10 SP, adding more tech and performance to the previously-announced updated MT-10.
Headlining the list of added features is high-end Ohlins semi-active suspension, which features the all-new spool valve damping technology. This gives a greater range of damping adjustments and gives a higher degree of response.

Changes to the suspension can be made via the TFT display, with three automatic semi-active damping modes available alongside three manual settings.
The automatic modes adjust rebound and compression damping to match the road conditions, while the manual modes allow precise electronic adjustment of compression and rebound for both the front and rear suspension.
Elsewhere, there is a 3-piece belly ban, braided brake hoses, and exclusive colours and graphics. The new MT-10 SP comes in an Icon Performance finish that is inspired by the class-leading R1M supersport track and race bike.
The MT-10 platform was recently updated to match similar improvements to the MT-09. As well as meeting Euro 5 emissions regulations, the new MT-10 also features improve ergonomics, new running gear, a new 4.2-inch colour TFT, new tech and a quickshifter as standard.
The new 2022 Yamaha MT-10 SP is due in European dealerships from mid-2022, but we currently have no word on Australian arrival and pricing.
