A new adventure sport tourer based on the Tiger 900 platform will join Triumph’s line up in 2021, with Triumph Tiger 850 Sport set to arrive in Australia next February. It will carry a price tag of $15,990 (plus ORC).
Combining a dedicated triple-cylinder engine set-up with tailor-made high-spec equipment and technology, the new 2021 Triumph Tiger 850 Sport is designed for intuitive and all-day riding capability.

Sharing the same innovative T-plane crank as the Tiger 900 range, the Tiger 850 Sport engine is made for accessible and manageable delivery of power and torque. It has a peak power output of 85PS at 8500rpm, and a peak torque figure of 82Nm at 6500rpm.
High-end equipment includes Brembo Stylema brakes with twin 320mm discs, Marzocchi USD fork and preload-adjustable rear suspension, and a comprehensive electronics package.
The bike features a five-inch TFT dash, multiple riding modes with dedicated throttle and traction control maps, LED lighting, slipper clutch, ABS and switchable traction control.
Ergonomics are set up for comfortable all-day riding, with an upright riding position and a seat with 20mm of adjustment. Additionally, a large 20l fuel tank and adjustable windscreen will make long journeys even easier.
The new machine is complete with distinctive Tiger styling and attitude, with two paint options available to customers: Graphite/Diablo Red and Graphite/Caspian Blue.
As is the case with other Triumph models, there is a wide range of accessories available for owners to customise their machine. Included in the accessory range is two luggage options created in partnership with Givi, as well as options for comfort, protection, capability, style and security.
