French manufacturer Sherco will shortly bolster its range of off-road bikes in Australia with it new Six Days enduro models, which will land in dealerships in late January.
The five-strong line-up pays homage to the 90th instalment of the International Six Days Enduro, held in Navarre, Spain, last year. As such, the new Shercos feature Spanish-themed and in-moulded graphics in contrast to the bikes' white plastics.
The 250 SEF-R and 300 SEF-R four-stokes also feature a hexagonal muffler profile while their two-stroke equivalents have aluminium mufflers with carbonfibre end caps.
Available only in limited numbers, the Six Days models also feature a high-grip seat and a black anodised rear sprocket.
The models ride on a WP 48mm open-chamber fork and a WP linkage monoshock, while two ride modes can be selected on the fly via the dual-curve power switch.
"Sherco is a passionate, core enduro brand and celebrating the biggest enduro event of the year with a special dedicated model release is a cool way for enduro enthusiasts to get on board the ISDE celebration," said Sherco Australia's Stephen Tuff.
"The ISDE sits aside from the Enduro World Championship because it's a teams' event. Each country sends its best team of riders so there's a lot of national pride at stake rather than just individual effort. And as it's held in a different host nation each year there's always an exciting Six Days model release from Sherco to follow."
The 2017 Sherco Six Days models will be available from January 19, 2017, at the following recommended retail prices (plus on-roads).
