New products: Yamaha Road and Off-Road Oil Change Kits
These convenient kits contain everything you need to change the oil and filter across a variety of both road and off-road Yamaha modelsChanging your bike's oil regularly, or at the very least at the manufacturer's recommended intervals, is the cheapest way of ensuring your engine remains in top condition well into the future. If you like to save some bucks and get the job done yourself, Yamaha has just released these handy oil-change kits to suit a number of its road and off-road models.
Yamaha's Road Oil Change Kit contains 4lt of Yamalube Y4-S 10W20 semi-sythetic engine oil and all the genuine Yamaha parts you need to carry out an oil and filter change. The kit is suitable for the YZF-R1 (2007 to 2012), the YZF-R6 (2006 to 2012), the FZ1N/S (2006 to 2012), the FZ6N/S (2001 to 2009), the FZ8N/S (2011 to 2012), the XJ6S (2009), the XVS1300A (2010 to 2012) and the XVS950A (2009 to 2012).
Yamaha's Off-Road Oil Change Kits contain 2lt of oil in both semi-synthetic or fully-synthetic formulas in a choice of three viscosities, plus all the genuine Yamaha parts you need to carry out an oil and filter change. Kits are available to suit the YZ250F, YZ450F, WR250F and WR450F (2003 to 2012).

The Yamaha Road Oil Change Kit is priced at $79.89 while the Off-Road Oil Change Kit is priced at $55.23 (20W50 and 10W40 semi-synthetic), $52.89 (10W40 semi-synthetic, 2010 to 2012 YZ450F only) or $63.32 (10W40 and 15W50 fully-synthetic).
