Kiwi motorcycle rack and luggage specialist Ventura has just released a range of Bike-Pack systems to suit Honda's recently-released NC700S and NC700X (pictured).
While Honda Australia has said it has no plans at this stage to bring the adventure-bike-styled NC700X to Australia, it's ABS-equipped, road-focussed NC700SA sibling went on sale in May, and offers commuters in particular plenty of practical appeal. The economical machine is good for around 25km/lt, and while its lockable 'boot' -- located where you'd traditionally find the fuel tank -- is big enough to swallow a full-face helmet, its luggage carrying capacity is expanded even further with the addition of a Ventura Bike-Pack system.
The Bike-Pack rack bolts to the bike's subframe, then allowing a number of differing pack options to be fitted. Those options include the 35lt Suzuka Touring-Kit ($389), the 44-56lt Rally-Euro Touring-Kit ($449), the 51lt Aero-Spada Touring-Kit ($459) and the 47lt Mistral Touring-Kit ($489), all of which include a pack, a rack, and all the necessary mounting hardware. Smaller sports racks and 10lt Sports-Packs are also available.
