New product: Strike Genius GPS BT
Purpose-built for motorcycles with the full suite of tech features, and retailing for $499Australian-based motoring technology company Strike has released the Strike Genius GPS BT unit, which features inbuilt Bluetooth and 3D mapping technology.
Other features include:
- Raised top and sides to help protect the screen from glare;
- A glove-friendly touch screen ensuring that the device is convenient and easy to use;
- 3D mapping technology that shows hills, landmarks, buildings and elevated roads, while providing advanced turn directions with spoken street names;
- You can also record your ride history and download details to Google Earth, which can be shared with fellow riders;
- The GPS is compatible with the Scala Rider Q2 Pro and the Scala Rider G4 Bluetooth headsets;
- Easy-to-use navigation software from Navteq Maps. The device also includes 4WD tracks by Hema;
- A mount is included in the kit, which is easy to install using a u-bolt, and which allows you to securely clip the Strike Genius GPS unit in and out as required; and
- By purchasing the Strike Genius BT, you receive unlimited free map updates for an entire year.
