If you've ever had an important meeting or work in an office environment that requires suit and tie attire, riding your motorcycle to work is probably not an option. Scrunching up your Italian wool suit into a square top box or backpack is a recipe for wrinkles that would make grandma blanche.
But with more and more commuters taking to two wheels to avoid the shocking peak hour gridlock and traffic jams, not to mention rising petrol prices, an American company has come up with an intriguing solution for motorcyclists who want to dress smartly for work.
Meet the SkyRoll MC, an innovative bag from Virginian-based SkyRoll company designed specifically for motorcyclists. Instead of having to fold your suits, shirts and slacks and petticoats, you hang the clothes in the unfurled SkyRoll MC then roll them up, which creates far less wrinkles than folding.
We haven't tried the product yet, but it certainly sounds like clever way to avoid having to drive a car to work and back for people who must wear business attire.
It consists of two parts - a hollow inner chamber and the outside wrap around garment holder.
SkyRoll has traditionally made suit bags for airline travel, but the new MC model for motorcyclists comes with a number of features designed to make life a little easier, such as a waterproof overbag, several tie-down straps, plus an adjustable sissy bar strap.
The SkyRoll MC also comes with reflective strips to improve night time visibility, and has an adjustable wrap-around strap should you want to wear it over your shoulders. Metal D-rings are included for the attachment of other items.
SkyRoll is charged around US$200 for the SkyRoll MC, and you can find more details and purchase the product at its website: SkyRoll.com.
