The Australian importer of the Macna range of protective clothing has announced a new, mid-priced, all-rounder jacket for men called the Scope jacket.
The full-length Scope jacket has both waterproof and venting capabilities, using a removable waterproof and breathable lining as well as a zip-out thermal liner for warmth. Once the liners are removed, vents on the arms, chest and rear of the jacket can be opened for airflow in warmer conditions.

Priced at $349.95, the Scope Jacket includes armour in the back, shoulder and elbow areas, with the two latter being CE-approved, there’s a zipper to connect to your duds and an optional high-vis vest.
It’s available in two colours, black and grey or white, blue and black, and in a wide range of sizes from small through to 4XL.
Macna, which has been in business since the early 1990s, was introduced to the Aussie market last month when Link International announced it would import a range of jackets, pants and gloves in both men’s and women’s sizes.
