Dunlop has launched the new Sportmax Q2 in Australia, "designed for the road using sophisticated race track technology" according to the maker.
The SportmaxQ2 features Dunlop's race track developed Intuitive Response Profile and MT Multi-Tread technology, as well as Jointless Band Construction which is claimed to enhance high speed handling and shock absorption.
There's also Tension Control System technology, which means different tension levels on the tyre casing are said to improve suspension capabilities and allow better rider feel.
"The SportmaxQ2 is a result of Dunlop's evolving tyre design philosophy," said Ken Wieden, Dunlop Motorcycle & Motorsport Manager. "Dunlop is proud of its development of multi-compound tyres. The SportmaxQ2 showcases the complex construction that allows our tyres to work so seamlessly on the track and now on the street."
