New product: BMW ProSummer gloves
Gore-Tex, leather and kevlarBMW’s ProSummer gloves have been on sale for just over a year now, and the Bikesales Network has just scored itself a pair for long-term evaluation.
We’ll be following up on that later (suffice to stay they have bene holding up beautifully in a Victorian winter), but in the interim here are the some of the ProSummer’s features:
Colour: solid black
Sizes: 6-12
Protection: double layers of leather at the palm and side of the hand, complete with Kevlar backing
Visibility: 3M stripes along the edge of the hand and gauntlet
Weather protection: permanently wind and waterproof with latest Gore-Tex technology
Comfort: Extremely easy to get on and off. Wrist bar and large adjuster bar at the gauntlet for individual width adjustment. Stretch sections on the back of the hand. Optimised grip due to a permanently attached membrane -- no "floating" inside the gloves, no annoying wrinkles. Easy to get in despite wet hands
Wiper lip: made of rubber on the left index finger
Logo: embroidered BMW logotype with a slight contrast on both index fingers
