Bering may have named its latest summer jacket after a winter wind but don't let that put you off: the intent is to show how it cools you down.
The Mistral is being sold for $199.95 in male and female designs and uses a tough 'fibretech' synthetic outer along with mesh panel inserts on the chest, back and arms to open as the temperature climbs.
The CE-approved jacket is fitted with shoulder protectors, adjustable elbow protectors and a pocket in the back for those who prefer to ride with a back protector. 3M reflective material improves visibility and there's a zip to connect to a pair of pants.
Men's sizes run from from S to 4XL in black with red piping or black/grey and white; women can opt from XS to 3XL in black with pink highlights (pictured).
