New product: Bell RS-1 helmet
American helmet specialist Bell says its mid-range RS-1 blends maximum comfort with minimal weightBell says its RS-1 road helmet has a super-lightweight Kevlar/fibreglass composite shell and comes packed with features.
Said to have a “super-stable aerodynamic signature”, the lid also boasts a full ventilation system, contour cheek pads, a padded wind collar, and a removable and washable X-static anti-bacterial liner.
The RS-1 comes with Bell’s NutraFog II anti-scratch, anti-fog visor, while the helmet is secured by a double D-ring closure with handy magnetic strap keeper.
Available in sizes XS to XXL, Bell’s RS-1 retails for $399.95 (solid colours), $469.95 (graphics) or $499.95 (limited RSD Flash graphic). The helmet is also covered by a long five-year warranty.
