New product: Airoh GP550 S helmet

The Airoh GP550 S is the Italian company's flagship road and track helmet, encompassing first-rate protection and performance with myriad features for track and sport road riders.

The helmet comes in three different shell sizes made of HPC (High Performance Composite). It comes with a type-approved 2D racing visor with tool-less quick-release system, tear-off posts, and a Pinlock anti-fog lens.

This scratch-resistant and UV-resistant clear visor is complemented by a second, smoke-tint visor.

The Airoh GP550 S has a total of eight vents and also boasts the brand's Airoh Emergency Fast Release system. This allows the quick removal of the lid's cheek pads by medical personnel in the event of an emergency.

Weighing in from just 1310g (depending on sizing), the helmet has innovative rear spoilers said to create a displacing effect at high speed, reducing buffeting and optimizing aerodynamics.

Meanwhile, the lid's internally channeled structure ensures effective air extraction to keep you cool on warmer days.

With full ECE Approval, the Airoh GP550 S comes with a removable, washable and hypoallergenic liner and is secured via a Double-D retention buckle.

The helmet shown here features a Matt White Venom graphics scheme; the Airoh GP550 S is also available in Solid Matt Black, Skyline Gold Matt, and Vektor Orange Matt.
