New President of VACC
John Buskes takes overJohn Buskes has been elected President of VACC. Mr Buskes was elected unopposed and replaces Mr Tony La Rosa, who becomes the Immediate Past President of VACC. Mr Buskes, a keen triathlete, motorcyclist and army reservist, becomes the 54th President of VACC.
Mr Buskes received the Presidential Pin at the recent VACC Annual General Meeting.
Mr Buskes owns A1 Motorcycles in Ringwood and Brighton and first joined VACC in 1988.
"On behalf of all VACC members, I would like to sincerely thank Tony La Rosa for his contribution as President. He held the position with dignity and provided sensible leadership," Mr Buskes said.
"It is an honour and a privilege to be elected the 54th President of VACC and I will strive to do my very best and to act fairly in the interests of all members," Mr Buskes said.
Mr Buskes is a keen triathlete and motorcyclist and he is also a current member of the Commando Association following 12 years as a reservist.
