New Peugeot scooters on the way
Four new models due in showrooms within weeksPeugeot Motorcycles has announced the release of four new scooters:
Kisbee 50
Priced from $2290, the modern-styled scooter is powered by a 50cc two-stroke good for 4hp (3kW) It weighs just 90kg and has 12-inch wheels.
Belville 200 RS
The 200cc four-stroke engine generates 11hp (8.3kW) and weighs 130kg. ABS is standard, and the $4790 machine also uses LED lights.
Metropolis
This three-wheeled bike uses struts to “tilt” the front wheels when cornering. The 400cc four-stroke engine in the $13,490 scooter develops 35hp (26kW).
Meanwhile, two existing models have also been repriced:
• The Tweet 125cc scooter uses 16-inch rims and is now priced at $3290; and
• The Django 150 has also seen $700 trimmed off its launch price and is now on sale for $4290 plus on-roads.
Peugeot will also be at the pointy end of the shift to electrified mobility when the e-Ludix launches later this year. Timing of the Australian launch has yet to be confirmed but is expected to be early 2020.
