Lambretta locks in launch date
Aussie customers will get the choice of two three different capacities across two stylesLambretta Australia has announced pricing on its new scooter range, which will be launched on Saturday, August 25.
There will be 50cc, 125cc and 169cc models across the new V and V Special platform. The V model will come with a conventional 'flex' front guard that moves with the steering, like the majority of scooters on the market today.
Meanwhile, the V Special will come with Lambretta’s ‘fixed’ front guard, was first introduced with the 175 TV in 1957.
There will be eight colour options across the range.
Pricing is as follows:
• V50 and V50 Special: $3590
• V125 and V125 Special: $4290
• V200 and V200 Special: $4990
Model features include:
• A steel body;
• Aluminium front grill, handlebar components and tri;
• Interchangeable panels for the ultimate personal look;
• Front and rear disc brakes (50cc has a rear drum brake);
• Linked brakes on the V125 and V125 Special;
• ABS on the V200 & V200 Special;
• LED headlight, taillight with integrated and indicators;
• Combined digital/analogue dashboard display;
• Ample underseat storage;
• Glove box with USB port;
• Side stand and centre stand; and
• Pirelli tyres
“A number of Lambretta launch events are locked in around the country to exclusively release the new Lambretta V model range on August 25,” said Lambretta Australia Brand Manager Goetz Neugebauer.
