Kawasaki Australia has announced that its latest motocrosser, the KX450F, is now on sale throughout its Australian dealer network.
Retaining the weight savings and power boost of the previous model, the 2017 KX450F boasts redesigned upper and lower triple clamps for superior handling, plus in-mould graphics.
The latter, used on the shrouds, delivers an ultra-smooth surface and ensures the graphics aren't easily damaged.
Powered by a 449cc, liquid-cooled, four-stroke, fuel-injected, single-cylinder engine, the 2017 KX450F weighs a claimed 108.8kg. Standard, soft and hard engine maps can be altered via the provided fuel injection couplers, while factory-style tuning is available via the Handheld KX FI Controller.
The 2017 KX450F is priced at $11,499 and is available in Lime Green with factory-style graphics.
Kawasaki has also announced that the model's smaller-capacity sibling, the 2017 KX250F, will go on sale at dealerships around the nation at the end of July.
