New Husky TE630 and SM630
The dual-sport and supermoto bikes were unveiled at last year's EICMA show in Milan, and now they are on the way hereHusqvarna's latest single-cylinder big-bores, the TE630 dual-sport and SMS630 supermoto, will make it to Australia in mid-July, claiming to produce 20 per cent more power and torque than their predecessors.
Of course, much of that is a direct result of a 24cc capacity hike (from 576 to 600), but the Pesaro-based manufacturer has also used a completely revised cylinder head derived from the giant-killing SM 530RR factory supermotard race bike.
The increase in engine performance is assisted by the standard fitment of free-flowing dual exhaust systems.
Significant revisions have also been made to the cooling system, and other key features include:
- 30mm seat height reduction;
- Dual level, stepped seat;
- Passenger grab handles;
- Hydraulic clutch;
- Revised pillion foot peg mounts;
- Tomaselli tapered handlebars;
- 12lt polyethylene fuel tank;
- Revised fuel injection and ignition settings;
- New 45mm throttle body;
- Availability of accessory luggage rack and soft luggage bag (optional accessory);
- Radial-mounted Brembo front caliper (SMS 630);
- New graphics and colour options
