Husaberg Australia, General Manager, Jeff Leisk commented, "The 2006 Husaberg model range is following the same winning 4-stroke engine concept of previous years.
"Our developments for 2006 focus on Husaberg's core segments of enduro and supermoto."
The popular FE Enduro models were the first enduro race bike with an electric starter and today lead their competitors in new innovations making Husabergs the lightest racing 4-strokes on the market. The FS650e Supermoto is a race bike for the road in the truest sense, a real adrenaline packed ride.
Both the FE and FS engines will follow the same winning concept in 2006 as the previous model year. The real innovations lie in the chassis development.
Revised for 2006 the FE and FS models receive a new fuel tank for more comfortable ergonomics, with a slimmer design between the legs for improved maneuverability. The new shroud design is not only striking with it's eye catching graphics but adds to the performance of the machine, directing air through the radiators and releasing the excess air flow through the ports in the shroud.
Updated settings on the WP suspension will improve the ride on all models with a smoother action and reduced risk of bottoming.
The colour changes for 2006 will surely stand out from the crowd. Black frames with deep blue plastics and flashes of yellow keep the new Husabergs looking fast even while standing still.
The 2006 Husaberg FE models are designed to achieve the ideal and efficient synergy between engine, chassis and suspension. The FE450e retails at $12,295, the FE550e at $12,595 and the FE650e at $12,895 plus on-road costs.
Designed for on-road use and racetracks the 2006 model FS650e retails at $13,495 plus on-road costs. All new 2006 models are backed by an industry leading 12-month parts and labour warranty.
