
At the new all-rounder's heart is the 1050cc, fuel-injected, three-cylinder engine that's already been well received in both Sprint ST and Speed Triple guise. Claimed peak power of 115 horsepower is delivered at 9400rpm, with 100Nm of torque at 6250rpm. The bike also has fully adjustable USD forks, and radial brakes.
While the new Tiger, which will retail at $15,990 (plus ORC) is Triumph's big-ticket release for 2007 (at least in the first half of the year), there are still limited stocks of the 2006 model available.
At $15,890 (plus ORC), the 2006 Tiger not only comes standard with colour-matched panniers, but also heated hand grips. That's nearly $2000 worth of accessories bundled into the package for free. Other features include a 24lt fuel tank, hand guards and centrestand.
