Ducati’s new V2 engine forms the basis of the new Multistrada V2, with the redesigned mid-sized adventure tourer set to arrive in Australia in March 2025.
Priced from $26,100 ride away, the new Ducati Multistrada V2 benefits from the new 890cc V-twin engine which is good for 115hp and 92Nm.
Ducati says the new bike is 18kg lighter than its predecessor, thanks partly to a completely redesigned chassis that includes an aluminium monocoque frame, steel trellis subframe, and aluminium swingarm. The bike tips the scales at 199kg dry.
Suspension is handled by a Marzocchi fork and a Sachs shock, and both are fully adjustable. The S version of the bike (priced from $29,200 ride away) is also equipped with Ducati’s Skyhook electronic suspension.
Other features include a new TFT display, five riding modes, and all the usual rider aids including cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, and engine brake control.
Also standard is cruise control, a USB socket, emergency brake light, and all-new headlights and DRL’s.
