New dawn for Rising Sun
From Honda: One of Honda Australia's largest and most successful Dealerships, Rising Sun Honda (RSH) in Townsville, Qld, has re-opened its doors after a complete overhaul that features expanded premises and services.In addition to the full line-up of Honda motorcycles, power equipment, pumps and generators, RSH now offers a massive range of spare parts and accessories, a larger service and repairs centre, and finance and insurance.
An exciting new addition to the business is a cafe that provides a place for customers to grab a latte and relax with friends.
The premises are now nearly 2500 square feet, making it the biggest retail complex of its kind in the network.
RSH is one of the remarkable success stories of Townsville businesses. From humble beginnings in 1975, owners Paula and Bernie Koppe have built North Queensland's most successful motorcycle business from what began as a passion and a hobby.
According to Koppe, the store was expanded to cater for growing customer demand.
"Customers expectations are greater these days and we feel it is important for to keep up with those needs; to set us apart from the competition."
RSH is a fully accredited Q-Ride Training facility where both new and current motorcyclists are trained.
It boasts the largest in house training facilities in Northern Queensland aimed at providing faster learning in a safe environment.
