Updated colour schemes are the only changes to the 2019 versions of Yamaha's YZF-R1 superbike and the retro-styled XSR900.
The tuning-fork brand's base-model 998cc sportsbike will be available in two options for 2019 – Yamaha Blue or Tech Black – and the model's recommended retail price remains unchanged at $23,999 (plus on-road costs).
The $24K price tag gets you IMU-actuated lean-angle sensitive ABS, traction and slide control systems, a bi-directional quickshifter, fully adjustable suspension, magnesium wheels and a TFT dash.
Similarly, the brand's retro-styled XSR900 nakedbike will be available in both blue or silver offerings for the 2019 model year, the hues officially known as Vintage Blue and Garage Metal.
The 2019 XSR900's retail price also remains unchanged at $12,999 (plus on-road costs).
